The small town of Quart de les Valls lies approximately 8Km inland (as the land starts to rise from the coastal plain) and 30Km north of Valencia city. Notable building include the 16th century church.
Just to the north of the town lies the Font de Quart de les Valls, a small lake fed by a spring, and surrounded by pine and palm trees, now a pic-nic area.
The surrounding countryside is agricultural, almost entirely growing citrus fruit.
