The town of Puzol (also spelt Puçol) is located approximately 15km north of Valencia, and 5Km south of the busy port town of Sagunt, on the Costa del Azahar. The town of Puzol itself (which has origens from Roman and Moorish times) lies around 2Km inland, but now has a modern beachside development on the coast.
The coastal development is of low rise apartment blocks, hotels, and villas, with a paved paseo along its length, and a small selection of bars and restaurants. The beach is of sand and pebbles.
The town lies between the AP-7 motorway and the V-21 dual carriageway, while the train staion is in it's centre. Trains to Valencia run approximately every half hour.
The immediate surrounding area is flat agricultural land, mostly growing citrus fruit.
