The small town of Montroy (Montroi in Valencian) lies approximately 30km inland from the coastline, and a similar distance southwest of Valencia city. Montroy nestles against a lowish rocky outcrop topped by a moorish tower and is surrounded by mostly fertile land growing citrus fruit.
While the town offers some facilities, including a selection of bars and restaurants, you will find further in nearby towns of Real and Monserrat
