La Drova lieas approximately 9Km north west of the large town of Gandia, and 9Km from the coast. The village lies in a partially wooded valley approximately 400m above sea level, overlooked by the Mondúver mountain, which rises to 880m.
The old part of the village is very small, but in more recent times has seen some desirable properties being built, both as second homes and permenant residences.
