Lying on the Castellon coast (Costa del Azahar) approximately 16Km south of the city of Castellon, Moncofa has wide sandy beaches nearby, some with blue flag status, together with more natural beaches with pebbles.
The main town of Moncorfa lies in a fertile flat area (the Plana), growing citrus fruit and vegetables, approximately 1.5Km inland, with the more modern develpment known as El Grao on the coast having the nearest beach.
The A-7 and AP-7 motorways are nearby, and there is a rail station just over 1Km from the town.
