Not a tourist resort, but more of a coastal village visited by tourists, Alcossebre has 10Km of sandy coastline (including blue flag beaches and rocky coves) on the Costa de Azahar. The village sits at the southern end of the Sierra d'Irta, an 18Km long mountain range (or hill really, as it rises to around 570m) running along the coast, separating it from the town of Peniscola.
The village has a good selection of bars and restaurants, and the is a marina with a sailing club.
