Lying approximately 10km inland from the southern Costa Blanca coastline of La Marina and Guardamar del Segura, the small town of Dolores wraps itself around the 18th century church with its blue dome.
The town has a good selectection of bars, restaurants, banks and small shops, while the surrounding area is mostly agricultural, growing vegetables and other arable crops on the flat fertile land.
