Lying approximately 35Km south west of the city of Alicante, and 15 Km inland from the southern Costa Blanca, the large village of Catral has good communications, being only a few Km from the AP-7 and A-7 Motorways, with a rail station 3km away.
The surrounding area is relatively flat (the village itelf is only 12m above sea level) irregated land growing various crops including artichokes and alfalfa.
