Lying approximatley 6Km inland, 15Km north of Alicante city, and 25Km south west of Benidorm, Busot will suit those who want good access to the Costa Blanca but still a little removed.
At arund 300m above sea level, the village is surrounded by hills and impressive rocky outcrops, most notable the Cabezon de Oro which is within the Busot municipality, and rises to just over 1200m.
The Canelobre Caves which are within the Cabezon de Oro are famous for having one of the largest vaults in Spain - a cathedral shaped chamber with hight of 70m.
Busot also has the remains of a Moorish castle.
The old part of the village has narrow streets and you will find a small selection of cafe/bars.
