Fuente Alamo is a small town in Murcia province, approximately 20Km inland from the Costa Calida. This is predominantly an agricultural area, part of the very fertile Mar Menor basin, with a large amount of vegetable growing on the flat fertile land.
This town has had a chequered past but in resent years has seen considerable development. The surrounding area has also seen the development of a number of golf resorts.
There are good road connections to the Mar Menor coast and Murcia San Javier airport, with the new airport being built at Corvera closer still.
