The town of Blanca is a fairly large town with many amenities including bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops with a population of approximately 5,787 and is situated by the River Segura.
There are indoor and outdoor markets where you can buy locally grown vegetables, fruit and many other items, also an Artisan market is held at the end of each month The landscape is a contrast between lush fruit orchards and unirrigated desert land.
The town is overlooked by Sierra del Sola at 556 meters to the Northeast and to the South by the Sierras Ricote and Oro. To the East is Sierra de la Pila.
It takes 55 minutes to Alicante Airport, 45 minutes to Murcia Airport and 20 minutes to the city of Murcia.
