Situated close to the border with Alicante province, approximatley 45Km from the coast, Barinas is a typical large Spanish village, with a small selection of bars and shops.
The village sits in a wide valley between mountains that rise to 800m and has good road access to Murcia city via Los Banos de Fortuna, and to Alicante, via the Hondon Valley.
