Designed by Francisco Navarro & Ignacio García and built in 2006, the Cerrado del Aguila Golf and Resort course lies 5Km inland from the coast, near the Mijas racecourse.
The course has wide fairways and when pleyed as 18 holes is par 70, with a length of 5104 to 5734m.
A further 9 holes are under construction creating an 18 hole par 71 course with a length of over 6000m.
Facilities include a golf academy, driving range, putting green, pitching green, creche, fitness centre, padel and tennis courts, and a restaurant.
