This is a great, unpretentious but challenging course for those who don't mind a bit of back-to-basics scrappy fairways but fantastic greens and very reasonably priced / cheap- July 2012, €20 per person, trolley hire €5.  It's very well hidden-  we knew where it was on the map but it still took ages to find! (When you find a sign that says "Parking" near the residential site office , you're there! It's a bit of a one- horse operation, with no clubhouse or shop, and the second time we played, there was a sign on the door explaining we could pay on the course, which we did.  It's nine holes which are played twice.  It is set in the mountains and quite undulating. The greens were excellent, a little spongy which meant the borrow wasn't as great as you might think, but a fantastic surface.  The fairways are not great, very dry and sparse coverage, so we played winter rules, as it was for fun and we were on holiday! Bunkers have some cursory sand in them, but frequently grass! There are no dull holes and we thoroughly enjoyed it. If you want a fun, cheap round and magnificent scenery, this is definitely worth a visit. (We didn't need handicap certificates).

A 9 hole course with slight changes to some tees to make it 18 different holes but only 9 greens. Beautiful setting but ...More
