Designed by Angel Gallardo / Neil Coles and built in 1999, just south of Gerona airport, PGA Golf de Catalunya is situated 15 Km south of Gerona and 25 Km from the Costa Brava.
The course was designed to a high standard with 5 tees to every hole making it suitable for a wide range of golfers.
PGA Golf de Catalunya was the venue for the 1999 Gene Sarazen World Open and the 2000 Peugeot Spanish Open, and has been described as one of the most attractive courses in Spain.

The green course is par 72 with a distance of 5310 to 6588m, while the red course, also par 72, has a length of 4,964 to 5,901m.

Facilities include a golf school, driving range, putting green, pitching green, and restaurant. There is also a 149 roomed hotel, and other accommodation is available.

The course has 2x18 holes.
