The Almenara Golf course was designed by Dave Thomas and built in 1992, 5 Km inland from the Costa del Sol at Sotogrande.
The course, divided into 9 hole blocks, gives players the choice of 3 different 18 hole, par 72 combinations, and has been designed with all levels of golfer in mind There is plenty of surrounding natural vegetation and 2 lakes have been included in the design.
Facilities include a driving range, 3 full length practice holes, putting greens, chipping greens, practice bunker, restaurant, and a 4 star hotel.
The course has 27 holes.
