The weather station at Albacete is situated at 680m above sea level, on a plain, with mountains to the north, south, and east, rising to an altitude of over 1000m. Lying approximately 300Km from the coast, there will be little or no effect by the sea on temperatures.
Winter temperatures will be significantly lower than the mediterranean coast with frosts and snow likely at times, while mid summer temperatures will be upto coastal levels.
