Located on the north east of Mallorca, approximately 50Km from Palma, the ancient town of Alcudia has origins in Roman and Moorish times. Sitting on a peninsula, the old town lies aprximately 1Km from the coast in both the north and south directions, where there are separate modern developments.
To the south lies the Port d'Alcudia and the sweeping sandy Bay of Alcudia offering 7Km of golden sandy beaches. Alternatively, to the north you will find quiet rocky coves and the natural wetland of the Albufereta.
In the old town you will find all the facilities you would expect in a traditional working Spanish town, while in the port area and along the beach you will find restaurants offering Mediterranean cuisine, or English style food if that that is what want.
