A well-looked after stone cabin next to the river, evidence of the traditional way of life that's still lived in rural Asturias.

Mountains seen on the walk.

Leaving from the hamlet of Caleao this 9km route takes in the first stages of a longer, almost circular walk (we've not done the whole thing yet, it's planned for this summer). This shorter version is suitable for children as well as adults

The walk meanders by meadows and leads down to the Los Arrudos river, which it follows before turning up towards the mountains. The walk finishes at a mountain spring and you make your way back along the same path.

We have information on Redes and all the official walks in the park in El Castano and La Cuadra.
