Lying approximately 30Km south west of Jaen city and at around 900m above sea level, the large village of Valdepeñas de Jaén sits in a river valley, with fertile soil growing fruit trees and arable crops. Away from the narrow fertile strip the predominantly grows olive trees n a rolling landscape. Beyond the rolling landscape are mountains rising to over 1600m, particularly to the east.
Amongst the narrow streets you will find a small selection of cafe/bars and shops.
