Oliva, situated about 8 Km south of Gandia, on the southern end of the Costa del Azahar, has a resort location on the coast (Playa de Oliva) and the old town about 3Km inland, in an area of citrus fruit growing and mountains in the distance.
Valencia is around 75 Km north and Alicante 100 Km south, with a good road (the A7) connecting the two.
The old town has history and charm with narrow cobbled streets and castle remains, yet a 20 minute walk gets you to the coast.
Being a lesser known spot, Oliva does not get as crowded in the summer as some of its neighbours yet boasts a beautiful golden sandy beach
