Gandia, located approximately half way between Alicante and Valencia, has a busy resort on the southern end of the Costa del Azahar coast of the province of Valencia and the small old city of Gandia 4 Km inland.
The old city has unspoilt old Spanish charm together with sophisticated modern shops and tree lined pavements and parks, in an agricultural area where citrus trees are grown, and overlooked by Mount Monduver.
Down on the Playa de Gandia, there is a long promenade, wide sandy beach stretching for over 5Km and marina.
