Altaria trains run on high speed or standard track, reaching 200km/hr (124 mph) on the high speed track.
Routes are available from Madrid to Heulva, Cadiz, Algeciras (where the ferry to Morocco may be caught) and Alicante with two classes of seats, Preferencia and Tourista.

The Altaria takes 3hrs 30 minutes for the Madrid to Alicante journey while the Madrid to Algeciras journey takes 5 hrs 25 minutes, costing 60 to 95 Euros
