La Manga Club has 3 separate and different championship standard golf courses, the North and South courses designed by Robert D. Putman (a renowned Californian golfer), and the West course designed by Dave Thomas (a top UK golfer of the 1950's and 60's).
The first course was built in 1971 and the Spanish Open was held here for 5 years in the 70's.
La Manga Club is situated just south of the Mar Menor, on the Costa Calida.
The course has 3x18 holes.
