Located 4Km inland from Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol, Mijas Golf boasts 2 18 hole courses designed by Robert Trent Jones.
The Lagos course (the name comes from the designer's use of the water hazard) was built in 1976 and is par 71 with a length of 5148 to 6,367m, while the Los Olivos course was built in 1984 (though this course has been substantially refurbished since), is par 70 with a length of 4880 to 5840m.
The former course is mostly flat with 6 lakes while the latter is narrower and requires higher level of technical skill.
