Flamingos Golf was designed by Antonio Garc?a Garrido and built in 2001 between Marbella and Estapona, having views of the Costa del Sol.

The Flamingos course is a par 71 and length of 5,714m, while the Gran Flamingos course is par 73.
The Flamingos Executive course, par 66, is due to open in 2008 and the Flamingos North course, par 72, is due to open in 2009.

The greens are a good size whilst the fairways tend to be narrower on the front nine, requiring more precision, than on the back nine.

The course has 18x2 holes.
