Alboran Golf was designed by Ramón Espinosa García - Bermúdez and built in 2005 at Retamar just in time to host the 2005 Almeria Mediterranean Games, just east of Almeria airport.
The course is situated 1km inland from the coast, on flat, easy to walk terrain.
Facilities include a golf academy aimed at all levels, driving range, practice greens, chipping green, practice bunker.
The course has 18 holes
