Alboran Golf was designed by Ram?n Espinosa Garc?a - Berm?dez and built in 2005 at Retamar just in time to host the 2005 Almeria Mediterranean Games, just east of Almeria airport.
The course is rated at par 72, slope 127 to 13,3 with length of 5371 to 6278m, and is situated 1km inland from the coast, on flat, easy to walk terrain.
Facilities include a golf academy aimed at all levels, driving range, practice greens, chipping green, practice bunker.
The course has 18 holes.
