The land inland from the coast going north towards Torrivieja and Alicante is fairly
low lying and you can expect summertime temperatures to rise slightly as you move inland.
La Manga del Mar Memor is a thin strip of land with sea on either side and will benefit
more than most areas from the cooling effect in the summer and warming effect in the winter.
Heading southwest from La Manga, towards Aguilas, the coastline is characterised by hills
rising to 800m within 10Km of the sea.
Inland from these hills is flat area where summertime temperatures will be higher than
the coast.
