Situated about 20 Km down the coast form Malaga Airport, Benalmadena has grown over the last 20 years and become a popular tourist destination on the Costa del Sol, particularly with the British.

Benalmadena Pueblo lies on the hillside and is old Andalucian village with narrow streets of whitewashed houses and balconies where the inhabitants grow geraniums.
Between the old pueblo and the coast you will find Arroyo de la Miel, a modern town where most of the areas inhabitants live and busineses are located.

Down on the coast is the marina which has, on two occasions, been voted the Best Marina in the World, with moorings for 1000 boats, and Benalmadena Costa with beaches.
This is a lively area with all the facilities you may need.
