Located 12 Km inland from the Costa del Sol, above Mijas and Fuengirola, the ancient whitewashed town of Alhaurin el Grande looks out accross the citrus growing Guadalhorce Valley and the Hoya de Malaga.
The town has a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants and the Alhaurin Golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros is not far away.
There is plenty of scope for walking in the area and the Torrecilla Nature Park is 20 Km to the west while the Los Alcornocales Park is around 70Km.
