The small town of Oria Lies approximately 100km north of Almeria city, at just over 1000m above sea level, making it one of the highest towns in the province. The Romans and Moors have made their presence felt here in the past.
Oria is away from the tourist trail yet the Costa de Almeria plus the cities of Almeria and Granada are still accessible.
