Agua Amarga is one of the jewels of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park coastline, lying aproximately 6km south of the town of Carboneras.
Being a little off the beaten track, Agua Amarga remains a little different with a very relaxing air to it. Although modern, it has character.
There are a small number of shops and bars, including restaurants right on the beach.
